Ten Southeast Missouri State University student members of the Zeta Alpha Lambda chapter of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) brought home seven awards in individual and team events at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference June 24-28 in San Antonio, Texas.
The students garnered one fourth-place, one sixth-place, two seventh-place, one eighth-place, one ninth-place and one 10th-place finishes.
The national conference provided students opportunities to learn about fundraising opportunities and technology vendors, network with other future business leaders, hear from inspirational keynote speakers, attend cutting-edge workshops, and participate in competitive events. Representatives from chapters across the country participated in the business-oriented competitive event portion of the program.
The Southeast chapter was honored with an “Outstanding Local Chapter” distinction, which recognizes outstanding chapters that have completed 15 membership, community service and education activities.
