“Springsteen: Writers’ Favorites” Airing Oct. 30-Nov. 13 on KRCU


A new three-part special series exploring Bruce Springsteen’s six-decade music career will be broadcast by KRCU Public Radio at Southeast Missouri State University on Fridays, Oct. 30-Nov. 13.

“Springsteen: Writers’ Favorites,” produced by Paul Ingles, gathers seven top music writers – Anthony DeCurtis, Holly Gleason, Gardner Campbell, Jim Fusilli, Holly George-Warren, Ashley Kahn and Joe Bonomo – to talk about their favorite Springsteen tracks. The program also includes tracks from Springsteen’s newest album, “Letter To You,” released Oct. 23.

The first episode of “Springsteen: Writers’ Favorites” will air Friday, Oct. 30 from 7-8 p.m. The second and third episodes can be heard from 7-8 p.m. Fridays, Nov. 6 and Nov. 13, respectively.

This American Life,” which typically runs at this time on KRCU’s program schedule, can be heard during its scheduled rerun time on Saturdays at 2 p.m.
