The falling dollar, the international economic outlook, and the national economy in 2004 and its effect on the presidential election will be discussed at the Sixth Annual Economic Outlook Conference scheduled for Feb. 13 at Southeast Missouri State University.
The event is slated for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Glenn Auditorium of Dempster Hall.
Dr. Patricia Pollard, research officer and economist with the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank, will discuss, “The Falling Dollar and the International Economic Outlook.”
Dr. Bruce Domazlicky, director of the Center for Economic and Business Research at Southeast Missouri State University, will present, “The National Economy in 2004 and Its Effect on the Presidential Election.”
The Center for Economic and Business Research, the Department of Economics and Finance, and the Donald L. Harrison College of Business are sponsoring the conference. Cost of the conference is $12, which includes lunch.
