Campus Life and Event Services is currently accepting nominations for the 2018-2019 Student Life and Leadership Awards.
The awards celebrate students, faculty and staff whose efforts have contributed to a spirit of community on Southeast’s campus and beyond as well as students who demonstrate academic excellence. The nine award categories are the President’s Spirit of Southeast Award, University Contributor Award, First-Year Student Award, Outstanding Student Organization Award, Outstanding Advisor Award, Civic and Global Engagement Award, Student Life Achievement Recognition Award, Provost Award (faculty nomination required), and the Experiential Learning Award (faculty nomination required).
The award criteria and an electronic nomination form are available online at www.semo.edu/leadership/awards. Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, March 22.
Please note that the Provost Awards and Experiential Learning Awards require faculty nominations, which are submitted directly to the appropriate college dean or Provost, as indicated in the criteria listed on the website.
The Student Life and Leadership Awards will be presented at a ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 3, in the University Center Ballroom.
