Sundays at Three Chamber Music Series Continues with Performances from Southeast Faculty


CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Feb. 17, 2006 — The renowned Chamber Music Series, “Sundays at Three,” continues its very popular 2005-2006 season with a special program featuring very talented Southeast Missouri State University music faculty on March 5.

The concert is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Old St. Vincent’s Church. 

The concert will feature Paul Thompson on flute, playing “Valse des Fleurs,” a very charming 19th century salon piece, “Op. 87,” by Ernesto Kohler (1849-1907) with Christina Van Nostrand and Candice Summers on flutes, and Tyson Wunderlich, piano.  Choir Director Steve Hendricks will be conducting the student chamber choir group Cantus Choralis, and Shane Mizicko and the Percussion Ensemble will be featured in a unique marimba duet.
