Thompson, Yount to Perform Recital

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Jan. 10, 2012 – Southeast Missouri State University Department of Music faculty members Paul Thompson, flute, and Matt Yount, piano, will present a recital at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Robert F. and Gertrude L. Shuck Music Recital Hall at Southeast’s River Campus.

Featured composers in this colorful program will include Sammartini, Dave Heath, Jolivet, Elgar and Martinu. Additionally, Thompson will present an exciting work for flute and CD by Southeast composer Dr. Robert Fruehwald.

Thompson and Yount have performed together for many years and “look forward to presenting this exciting and varied program,” Thompson said.
