The annual Southeast Missouri State University United Way campaign will begin on Oct. 16. In 2018, Southeast students, faculty and staff contributed $13,675 to the United Way of Southeast Missouri. This rate of giving ranks the University in the top 20 among businesses in southeast Missouri for annual gifts to this vital community organization. The Southeast Missouri State University United Way Campaign shows the power of each individual and the power of our community. Your gift will make a meaningful difference to another person in need of support.
Our 2019 goal is participation – we hope that many in our campus community will choose to support the United Way. On or near Oct. 16, you will receive a United Way packet from someone in your department. Donations can be made by completing a pledge form or visiting http://semo.edu/unitedway/ no later than Nov. 1. Completed pledge forms should be given to your department coordinator or mailed to Tammy Underwood at MS 3375.
To learn more about the 2019 campaign, plan to attend the United Way kickoff on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. in the University Center Redhawks Room. Everyone is welcome to the kickoff event. Joining the event will be Elizabeth Shelton, executive director, of the United Way of Southeast Missouri. Light refreshments will be served.
