The annual Southeast Missouri State University United Way campaign will begin on Oct. 17. In 2016, Southeast students, faculty and staff contributed $21,152 to the United Way of Southeast Missouri. This rate of giving ranks the University fifth among businesses in southeast Missouri for annual gifts to this vital community organization. The Southeast Missouri State University United Way Campaign shows the power of each individual and the power of our community. Your gift will make a meaningful difference to another person in need of support.
Our 2017 goal is participation – we hope that many in our campus community will choose to support the United Way. The campaign is now paperless – no more packets to sort through and return! To learn more about the 2017 campaign, plan to attend the United Way kickoff on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. in the University Center Program Lounge. Everyone is welcome to the kickoff event! We will be joined by Elizabeth Shelton, executive director, and Kristin Funderburk, community relations manager, with United Way of Southeast Missouri. Light refreshments will be served.
