University Awards Contract to Pepsi Mid America Inc., New Event Drink Purchase Rules Apply

Southeast Missouri State University has awarded a new five-year contract to Pepsi Mid America Inc. for exclusive campus pouring rights, soft drink vending services, and food/snack vending services.

It is important to remember, no competitor soft drinks may be purchased with University funds (Purchasing Card or other payment methods) or served at University functions without a written exception approved by the contract administrator, that waives exclusivity for a specific event on campus. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The five-year contract begins July 1, 2021, and the University has the option to renew for another five year term after the initial contract term. This exclusive contract applies to all soft drinks sold/served on campus including Chartwells, the University Bookstore, the Show Me Center, Catapult Creative House, all Athletics facilities and Mississippi Mugs.
