University Departmental, Event Reservations for Calendar Year 2021 Now Open

Event Services and Scheduling began accepting University departmental and campus event reservations for the 2021 calendar year on Monday, March 2. Departments and individuals are encouraged to submit reservation requests early to ensure the greatest selection of space and date availability for recurring departmental meetings/committees, annual lectures/dinners, trainings/seminars and similar events that are University-sponsored.

Reservation requests may be submitted in four ways:

  • Use the online form: https://semo.edu/campuslife/event-services/request_form.html.
  • Email unischeduling@semo.edu outlining the request(s).
  • Call (573) 651-2280 and request to speak with Event Services and Scheduling.
  • Meet with Event Services and Scheduling, located inside Campus Life and Event Services in University Center Room 414. Hours of operation are 7 a.m.–5 p.m. during the regular semester schedule. In-person submissions are recommended if there are multiple complex reservation requests or for assistance in selecting an appropriate room, set-up and resources to make the event successful.

Please note, in requesting reservations in academic buildings/rooms, Event Services and Scheduling will do their best to fulfill each submission. However, academic classes take precedent up until the third week of each semester. The reserving party will be notified of a need to change the event location should a conflict occur after the initial reservation is made.

Student organizations can currently schedule events and meetings occurring prior to June 1, 2020. Summer and fall 2020 reservations for student organizations will open on Wednesday, April 15, and spring 2021 reservations will open to student organizations on Oct. 15.

All reservations made through Event Services and Scheduling will continue to be processed using Outlook through the spring 2020 semester. However, the University is implementing EMS software with the anticipated transition to the new system being summer 2020.
