Human Resources has worked with the Department of Information Technology to develop an electronic method for employees to submit verified sick leave notes. Beginning immediately, all verified sick leave notes should be submitted to Human Resources via the Southeast Portal. This system will allow for easier submission by the employees and enhanced tracking of all verified sick leave notes.
To upload verified sick leave notes, follow these steps:
- Log into the Southeast Portal.
- Click the ‘Employee SS’ tab at the top of the page.
- Click on ‘Upload Sick Leave Verification’ on the right side of the page undue the ‘Human Resources’ section.
- The ‘Verified Sick Leave Documentation’ main screen will provide further directions for uploading notes and report options for timesheet approvers.
Union employees will not use this system and will continue submitting sick leave notes within their current process.
