CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 19, 2012 — Rhonda Weller-Stilson, associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and director of the Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts at Southeast Missouri State University, was reappointed today to a three-year term on the River Campus Board of Managers.
The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents approved the reappointment. Weller-Stilson’s new term will expire Dec. 1, 2015.
The River Campus Board of Managers is comprised of three representatives appointed by the University’s Board of Regents and three appointed by the Cape Girardeau City Council. At least one of the City’s appointees must be from the hotel/motel industry.
Joining Weller-Stilson as University representatives on the board are Swayne Byrd and Dr. Ronald Rosati, Southeast provost. City representatives on the River Campus Board of Managers are Ruth Knote, Dennis Vollink and Jerry Ford.
Weller-Stilson is a professor in Southeast’s Department of Theatre and Dance and served as department chair from 2008-2011. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in both art and theatre from Southeast, a Master of Arts in Theatre from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Fine Arts in Costume and Scenery Design from Tulane University. She is in her 12th year at Southeast.
