The Southeast Missouri State University Wind Symphony will present its second concert of the 2020-2021 season on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Academic Hall Auditorium. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing guidelines will be in place. Due to capacity limits, patrons are encouraged to reserve their seats early.
The program will feature wind and percussion music including works by Felix Mendelssohn, Georg Philipp Telemann, Henry Purcell and Alexander Mityushin.
The concert will conclude with a medley of tunes composed by Freddie Mercury and made popular by the British rock band Queen.
The Wind Symphony is led this year by Interim Conductor Dr. Robert M. Gifford, Southeast emeritus professor of music who spent 24 years as the University’s Director of Bands.
